Hey there!
I’m Abigail Zier, a social worker with a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Maine. My journey began with a BFA in Fine Art from Syracuse University, and it was further shaped by my time living and working as an elementary school art teacher in Germany.
These experiences have given me a unique perspective on how creativity can support personal growth and help communities thrive. Whether through direct social work, policy initiatives, or creative projects, I am always eager to collaborate on efforts that uplift and empower.
My clinical interests include: expressive therapies, horticulture therapy, play therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I practice from a strength-based, person-centered approach.
In addition to my clinical work, I am passionate about creating change from a macro perspective, focusing on upstream solutions through public policy and systemic advocacy to address the root causes of social injustice.
